A life dedicated to humanity

A community in Byford, Western Australia hosted a photographic exhibition of the life and journey of Abdu’l-Baha in a local cafe, Cafe Dôme.

By coincidence, during their research for the exhibition the community found an old photograph of Cafe Dôme in Paris from 1913. During that time period cafes were a place where many philosophers, professors, travellers and mystics used to gather to discuss the big ideas and issues of the time. Abdu’l-Baha, during his visit to Paris, gave many talks to many of these philosophers, professors, travellers, mystics who may have frequented these cafes.
